Mark and Candice have been married since 2005 and have three amazing boys (Judah, Ben and Daniel). After serving on the eldership team of Glenridge Church in Durban, they relocated their growing family to Cape Town in 2013 where they took over the leadership role at Life Changers. Mark is highly strategic and future focused, but unfortunately those skills can’t help him on the golf course. Both Mark and Candice love people, worship and seeing people take their next step in following Christ. Candice is also a phenomenal dancer and creative, and Mark is just above average on the dance-floor.
Gabe and Fiona Phillips

Gabe and Fi met at Life Changers in early 2013 and were married exactly 11 months later. They are both on full-time staff and have a deep passion for people, the Gospel and good movies. Despite Gabe’s red-hair and pretty wife, Gabe’s great passions are preaching, telling long stories and watching other people do DIY. Fiona studied food-science and biology, but also has huge administrative and leadership skills that make her a huge asset. In March 2017 they became proud parents to adorable Olivia Grace.
Quintin and Louise Hawes

Quintin and Louise have an amazing story of God’s grace and power as they both found Christ out of addiction and into freedom at Life Changers. They have four children (Riley, Matthew, Annabelle and Libby) and have been on eldership since late 2012. Besides being Manchester United fans, this couple love to have people in their home and they can often be found dancing to good music.
Brett and Shelley Anderson

Brett and Shelley have been a part of Life Changers story for 20 years. They joined the eldership team in 2019. They are passionate about serving the local church and have served in almost every area in the life of the church. Brett owns a Audio Visual events business and Shelley is the Operations lead at the Milnerton site. They are also part of the City congregation and love pioneering new spaces. They have 2 daughters Brittany and Sarah who serve in the VOX youth space. As a family we love boggle (game) animals and JESUS!
Scott and Amy

Scott and Amy have served at the Milnerton campus since joining Life Changers. They have two incredible boys, Zachary and Christopher who are both miraculous answers to prayer. Scott and Amy have a passion for prayer, the poor, and seeing people come to a place of healing and freedom. They long to see the presence of God move among His people. They love church and being part of community. In their "free" time, Scott is an engineer working for Sea Harvest and Amy is taking a break from teaching to be home with the boys. They love spontaneous adventures, big or small, and you will find them on the beach most days.
Mphele and Monica Tau
Eldership couple
Mphele and Monica Tau are a young couple who moved to Cape Town in 2015. They are proud parents of a beautiful daughter, Naki Tau who was born in 2018, who loves the outdoors as well as interacting with others.
Both are full time professionals who are passionate about God’s kingdom being realized in the corporate space through work ethics that reflect the gospel. Mphele holds dual qualifications in Occupational Therapy and Law; and Monica holds a Masters qualification in Physiotherapy. Mphele is passionate about music. He serves in the Table View congregation’s worship team as well as on the care ministry team. Monica is passionate about good stewardship of resources and financial freedom for God’s people.
As a Tottenham Hotspur supporter, Mphele did what any good Christian husband would do and managed to convince Monica away from Manchester United. She is now a happy member of the Spurs family – although rumor has it that Monica’s sudden change had to do with a certain Jose Mourinho joining the club as head coach.
Both love spending quiet times with a good book and are undecided about their favorite author: Jeffery Archer vs John Grisham.
